Exhibitions remain a defining feature of the museum experience and their creation is a key element of museum work. Yet talking about the process of exhibit making can leave the impression that there isn’t much relationship between theory and practice. If there aren’t hard and fast rules about creating exhibits, are there at least guidelines?
