American Helicopter Museum and Education Center

Established in 1996, the American Helicopter Museum and Education Center is a nonprofit organization that collects, restores and displays rotary-wing aircraft.  As the nation’s premier helicopter museum we are dedicated to educating and inspiring all generations using the science and technology of vertical flight.
The museum displays over 35 civilian and military helicopters, autogiros and convertaplanes.  Visitors can climb aboard several of the helicopters for a truly unique hands-on experience.  The American Helicopter Museum is located in West Chester, Pennsylvania, where it coincides with the industry innovators in the Philadelphia region.
