What will I find in the resource guides?
- Most of the resources are free on the Internet.
- The Time Savers section has resources that generally take less than half an hour to use. These resources are organized into Read, Watch, and Listen sections to enhance learning by using different types of media.
- The Toolkits and Training section has resources with in-depth information.
- Not every resource guide is the same. You might find quick tips, additional resources, or other materials that might be helpful to you.
- The resources come from various industries, types of organizations, and self advocates.
- We took time to consider the intersectionality of the lives of people with disabilities through the lenses of diversity, equity, access, and inclusion.
- We could not cover everything, so we worked hard sample many types of accessibility resources.
You can use these to improve your own understanding, as discussion starters, and for training your staff. We encourage you to be curious and find other resources that you think might work well for your organization.
