PA Museums Announces the 2015 Special Achievement Awards Winners

Every year PA Museums presents its Special Achievement Awards at our statewide museum conference. We invite nominations from our membership, and our awards committee reviews these. We are very pleased to announce this year’s award winners.

Institutional Awards of Merit will be presented to Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site for “The Big Graph” and to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History for “Museum on the Move.” An Honorable Mention will be presented to Historic Fair Hill for “A Legacy of Learning.”

PA Museums presents S. K. Stevens Awards to those projects that have won an AASLH Award and a PA Museums Special Achievement Award. This year we will honor the Gettysburg Seminary Ridge Museum and Landis Valley Village and Farm Museum.

We invite you to join us for our awards ceremony and luncheon on April 13 at the State Museum to hear more about the projects that have earned awards. Registration is required. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Congratulations to our award winners!
