Hauser & Wirth Institute has announced its preparation of the catalogue raisonné Franz Kline
Paintings, 1950–1962 . This major scholarly project, conducted in cooperation with the Estate of Franz
Kline, will present for the first time an online compendium of Kline’s oil-on-canvas works made between
1950 and the artist’s death in 1962.
The catalogue raisonné represents a unique opportunity to present detailed information on every painting
created during those years. It will be a free resource for scholars, historians, museums, galleries, and
others interested in the artist’s work. Franz Kline Paintings, 1950–1962 will be published using the online
catalogue raisonné platform panOpticon.
