Pennsylvania Museums:
Rebuilding and Rebounding

Many museums, historic sites, monuments, zoos, science centers, and gardens find themselves currently experiencing financial hardships, or at the very least, economic uncertainty.  We encourage you to use this as an opportunity to focus on ways to stimulate visitor attendance, to encourage cultural and heritage tourism, to provide focus for community and economic development, and to generate interest in preserving those characteristics that make each museum special or unique. Pennsylvania museums can rise up, rebuild and rebound, making them even stronger. These ideas will be presented at the 2010 conference through sessions offered by the Pennsylvania museum and public history community.
